I actually liked it best when you had the chrome and blue look.... You have put a ton of work into that thing, but with all the black it reminds me more of a F150 now for some reason.

Thanks I'm quite happy with it and its been good to me. There's not much else that needs to be done for now. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Thanks fornthe compliments. I'm still debating on what to do with the grille. It probably will not stay blue like this. It'll either become an 05 grille or back to a chrome 99-04.

I'm finally updating my lighting a little more. I stopped in and ordered new cubes for the front end. Lightforce ROK40s. According to the spec sheets they're 3200 watts each, 4 10 watt LEDs.

I'm getting the diffused pattern do I can continue to run them all the time as DRL. Super excited and can't wait to get them in next week

Nice! I look forward to this. If I may make one correction, they are 3200 lumens, not watts. 3200 watts of LED lights would be insane! A 50" LED lightbar is around 300 watts just for comparison....

Yes fair point. That would be cool though 8-). They're 80watts combined. I'm hoping they will be good enough with the flood pattern of I aim them down a bit to run full time like the current setup, but actually do something when they're on. Worse case scenario I'll switch lenses for the clear and have driving lights and just switch them on and off. We'll see.

If it helps, this is what my 54 watt floods look like on my quad. I am thinking you'll be ok. This is 4200 lumens, you'll be at 6400.

Thought I would resurrect this from the dead. Over this holiday weekend I was over my parents where all my tools are so i was finally able to do a few things that had been stacking up.

I seriously needed brakes again, and after i pulled them off I found out why. A little dissapointed with the R1concepts premium blanks.

Drivers Side

Passenger side

This time around i went with Frozen Rotors slots for the front and Hawk LTS pads again.

New rotors and pads.

Stopping power and time is greatly improved. I still have a little pedal shudder but i believe that's going to be the rear rotors.

This weekend I also installed my Lightforce ROK40 cubes. They are BRIGHT! Holy crow they are bright, In order to be "running lights" I've aimed them down so the hot spot is about 7 feet in front of the truck. I'll try to get pictures of those tonight.

I also installed Switchback LEDs in the turn signals. Really happy with how they turned out with the exception of the hyper flash, which i need to get the LED relay yet. Can't find it in any stores so i might need to go to amazon.

I found one in super right LEDs once and at advanced auto for my 95. When you input the vehicle it's an option in the drop downs.

Back From the dead again

Hey all. It's been a while. I've been staying away from the forums because I see things on here and spend lots of money that I shouldn't and don't have. So.. sorry about that.

I've done a few things over the two years. Nothing crazy Just minor updates.

Here is the 20" bar that I had installed for about a week? maybe 2. The bar is by QuakeLED they were a company at the NJ outdoor show in Edison.

That was quickly replaced a Rough Country 30" single Black LED bar. I think this fills out the space much better.

Because I now had a 20" bar I needed to find somewhere to put it. So up on the backrack it went. I copied the mounts that the bar came with but elongated them an extra 1/2" to not block the 3rd brake light and welded them directly to the rack.

Lights are wired to the 05-07 upfitters in the dash. Front is on the 30amp aux 1 rear is on the 10amp aux 4 leaving me a 30 and a 10 for other things in the future.

I also fixed the swing case. I made plates to fit on the backside of the bed and fully welded the mounting brackets and then used nuts and bolts. They're definitely going to stand up to the weight this time.

The bed has been Eaten up by the salt of NJ. What was once just minor bubbling is now full blown rot on both sides. Due to this I've decided it's not worth saving. The truck is getting up there in miles and it doesn't justify spending the 1200 on a new bed plus paint or even the 1000 to have the rust fixed with the existing bed.

New plan for the truck is to turn it into a rig capable of keeping up with XJs and JKs on 35s.

Stage 1:
Simple Cage (ABC pillars upper hoop and lower floor bars)
2" leveling kit/springs with Ladder bar
Lockers

Stage 2:
37s on 17s
4.88s
Tube fenders front and rear

Stage 3:
Atlas 5:1 T-case
ZF-6(??)

This may turn into more steps or one. I'm not sure how that will go.

I am looking forward to this. I had a ZF6 in my 04 and that thing had way more get up and go than the 4R100!
