Same size, 285/75r16s, I think the trucks look funny with the 265s. So far they're great. I'm running 50psi front and 64psi rear and they ride pretty good. A little bit quieter then my all terrains, but I never thought the ATs were loud. If I get 40k out of them I'll be more then happy.

It was my first time spraying it. I probably put it on to thick in places, as its still yellow in a few spots as of today. But after I went back and touched everything up I used a gallon and 1/3. Sprayed inside all the doors, inside the bed supports, inside and outside the bed rails driveshafts and axle housings inside the front fenders.

Hey Justin how's it going? So how did you like working with that fluid film and I know its only been a couple weeks but how's it holding up so far? And where'd you get your kit from and how much did it cost ya if you don't mind me asking?
I was wanting to get some to put on my truck for the winter, and my parents just got a new car and my Dad was wanting to put some sort of rust proofing on it. To keep it from rusting like their last car did.
And your truck looked real when you had it all cleaned up.

If you don't mind I can provide some insight here...there are a bunch of options out there for kits, but I ended up buying a complete kit from Kellsport on Amazon for around 90 bucks. Came with a gun, 2 canisters, a long flex spray nozzle (to get up inside bed supports, in doors, etc), a brush, ez pour spout, gallon of film, etc. great deal in my book and I've used this stuff for a while, 2 applications last me an entire New England winter, and I wash my undercarriage weekly. My $.02

Thanks for the info Lucas, and good to hear that you've had good luck with it. I actually just looked it up real quick. Just typed in "fluid film kit" on amazon and that was the first one that came up haha. Definitely looks like a good deal. That's good that it holds up pretty we too, I'm in Ohio, right in the snow belt so we get a lot of snow with a lot of salt, so it would end up taking some abuse.
So just a quick question for you, since you've been using it for a while. Have you had any trouble with it "melting" and dripping of in the summer? Because my Dad was talking to a guy who said he heard that was a common problem with fluid film and that he had heard nothing good about it? Not sure how reliable of a source that was but still I've never used it so I don't know how well it works. My Dad wasn't too sold on fluid film but I'm pretty sold on it. Planning to do my truck, and my moms new car and might as well do my Dad's truck too.
