Howdy there to my FTE friends .... well where are the May flowers already ??? Greg hope those back spasms go away... I just had my first of three injections in my back to relieve the pain from many years of abuse it has taken... I was taking 4 pain pills a day and 3 muscle relaxers up till yesterday ... now none yet today full effect won't be for 3-4 days ... hoping and smiling !!! Good luck with that back !!!! Dave

Good to see you poking around here again Dave.
I really hope those injections work for you. I know the misery of back pain.
You should come by next time you are in town and catch up.

Greg - Hope you're feeling better soon! Back pain sucks!
I get back cramps/spasms along with migraines once a month for 3 - 7 days at a time. Why can't I just get regular tummy cramps like most woman?!
Have you tried soaking in a hot Linament bath? Add about 1/16 cup Linament liquid while filling your bath water, then enjoy soaking. It amazing how well it works! It's basically a stronger version of IcyHot in a liquid form that's sold in most feed & tack stores & is typically used on Equine.
Depending on your skin sensitivity, it can be used full strength directly applied to the skin. **(Never apply directly to skin right after a showering or swimming as your pores will be open! )** I found out the hard way after taking a hot shower as it can/will cause redness, blisters &/or burn severely! I couldn't get back in a COOL shower to get it washed off quick enough - it burned/stung that bad! Although my back felt sooo much better, it took almost 45 minutes for the redness & cool sting to go away.
*Not recommend for human use*

OK, another way to do it would be to apply straight Linament right before you get in the shower & let the hot water run for a few minutes where you applied it before using soap. If you have a massaging type shower head, use that too! By doing it this way, it dilutes the Linament & also allows you to wash off the strong mentholated smell at the same time! You should notice a deep cooling sensation while drying off from your shower. (The best way to describe it is would be a fan blowing on cold water)
