Oh sure tease me with that, I haven't see that one and can't find the whole episode online.....
Yeah, sorry about that. It's really a good episode. They have a couple of different competitions. Also the show goes through them building the planes....I guess I'm not helping you am I.
It's a small world!
I had to meet this guy today to look over a project. We met at 10 am, started traversing through the timber, we start talking Jeep and eventually he shows me a pic of his Grandpa's old truck. That picture was, for some reason, familiar to me....
Turns out it was Travis! The OP of this thread!
I was blown away by this! Funny how paths cross sometimes!
Anyway Travis and I will be working together next week for a day or two!
It was a pretty cool day! Nice to meet ya Travis!
Same here Jeff! It's funny how small of a world it is some times. Next time you make it to STL, I'll get the 50 out
I didn't mention that I help with well sampling down at Wood River. So I will probably be down there in April or May.
I stay in Alton when i go down there. And Yeah I would like to see the '50
My build thread is at the bottom of my posts. Check it out when you get time!
I knew the rear fenders were fiberglass, but yesterday I just realized my front fenders are fiberglass also. Didn't even think about them. Doesn't bother me that they are, just didn't know they made them.
Might be F-1 fenders with the wheel openings cut out larger. I know at one time there was a place advertising glass F-2 fenders but that was quite a few years ago.
I was referring to your front fenders. We all surmised your rear fenders were F-1s when you first posted about you truck. You have a good side shot of your truck on the previous page. You clearly see the rears have smaller wheel openings and they are also wider. The fron fenders have the wider opening which I think could easily be a modification to a set of glass F-1 front fenders.
