Hope all is going well. Where are you now? As Bob said, you have family watching, you need to let us know where you are.

Just left Amarillo, bound for Oklahoma City and then either Memphis or Nashville depending on how I'm doing. Truck is doing fine. I usually stop for gas every 3 hours and I check the fluids each time. So far so good.

Keep us posted. Just FYI--the 200 miles between Memphis and Nashville can be very crowded and mind-numbing. Plus the interstate system around Nashville can be pretty intense with all the construction. So if you're tired.....you might want to avoid rush hour, etc.

I got a PM at 01:23 hours this, Friday, morning from the '84Redwolf' saying he was doing quite well and rolling. He indicate he had a long way to go and a short time to get there, (paraphrase a slight bit there) and would forgo my offer of coffee or lunch. He thanked us all for the encouragement.

Thanks for the update Ray. I figured he needs to keep the hammer down as he's on a tight schedule. It is cool to follow these kind of trips!

I know the feeling. I have always felt you could travel the country cheaply money wise if you really want to, stay in state camp grounds, eat hot dogs. One thing that isn't cheap is time. Never have enough of it, something you can't buy more of.

Ray, thanks for the update.
