the tank in the bed is 20-21 gallon tank.
Original tank behind the seat is not there but another tank is.
It's not mounted and is not the correct tank for the truck.
Mounting holes across the top do not line up.
If anyone is interested in that tank I can get pics, just PM me.
I am still undecided about putting an original tank back in the cab, but if I do I want the proper tank.
Tank I believe is from 67-69, it has 3 mounting holes across the top instead of 5.

I'm working on almost the same truck. '70 SB Flare Side. But, mine is a lot rustier. Yours looks very solid. Great starting point.
At 5000# GVW, I assume you have the factory helper springs in the back, as mine does. They'll come out someday.
Mine was originally light blue and has a similar red paint job.
I'm currently installing a 22 gal Mustang fuel tank behind the rear axle. Behind-the-seat tank is in the shed.

I won't buy new wheels & tires till after the CV front end swap and Explorer over-axle rear end are in and the truck has 5X4.5" lug pattern. Then I'll have to redo the side mount studs anyway so I should be able to accomodate whatever the new wheels & tires are.
Periodic posts on my project are on https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-it-worth.html I started it when I was considering buying the truck.

The 3-row Champion aluminum radiator fits. It is the width of the wider, optional radiator and mounts in holes beyond cut out on the driver's side.
If you look closely you can see the white mark where I'll cut the radiator support to expose the whole radiator.
The frame around the Champion radiator provides for mounting the front side on the radiator support and mounting a shroud on the engine side.
I have a Campion alum radiator in my Maverick and like it a lot. The one for the F100 is guaranteed to cool 850 HP.
