Went to Modesto CA and got a complete set of vintage Budd 22.5 tubeless rims with the old 8x10 bolt pattern off a 57 F750 fire truck.

Budd wheel

Budd 70420

I have two of these on the front currently which are slightly wider, but otherwise identical:

Budd 69640

22.5 Budd rims dismounted and soon to be off to the powdercoater.

Also acquired an extension section for the bed:

I've been trying to piece together a few sets of those vintage 22.5s for awhile myself for some 40s vintage trucks in the family. At least yours were 8 lug, 6 lugs are really difficult to find.

The 8 on 10 pattern Ford-only tubeless was only available from 1956-1963 on a small portion of f750-f800 trucks. The six lug is rarer than that?

I have managed to find 5 through farm auctions and know where a sixth is at a bargain store (we don't have pawn shops). My family has three non Ford 6 lug trucks (so we need 18 total eventually) that we would like to get off of the 20s as some of them are the RH5* Firestone widow-makers.

Six lug? I know of a couple yards around here that have quite a few.

It's the five and eight lug wheels that are a bit uncommon.

Is your hood scoop in the original position? I recently found one I want to put on my 59 and I thought it would mount more foreward

Yes it's in original location. A 58-60 pickup hood will be different. Simply mount it directly above the air cleaner so that you can make it functional.

Ford Truck LOW AIR lamp for air brakes. Will illuminate red "BRAKE" when air falls below safe levels. Operates with the original buzzer.

I can now be warned when the future stereo is blasting metal and I cannot hear the buzzer.

This fills the choke or throttle cable location.

Pulled out the original speaker.

The speaker has the exact same mesh as the hood scoop.

I will probably just re-install it for someone in the future to play with. Putting the grille in the powder coat pile.
