Oh well, My passenger side one looks like someone nerfed a pole
and made a flat spot right between the doors.

Amarillo re-upholster opinions wanted

Hey Amarillo fans, I am looking to re-upholster my seats with new Katzkin or comparable leather. Also want to get custom floor mats. I am thinking about getting the Amarillo embroidery in yellow instead of red and also doing the yellow contrast stitching. My only concern is if that is just too much. Maybe red lettering and red stitching? Maybe red letters and black stitch? Any opinions would be appreciated. I want it tasteful, not gaudy, but definitely custom. Also the floor mats with "Amarillo" embroidery should match the seats. Might even put the logo on the back seats. Of course I am going to get plush upgraded leather with perfs. Ideas? Thoughts? Laughter? Mockery? All is accepted. These pics are some 5 minute photoshops.

Thanks

PS, I am 50, not 20. And you can see that the existing leather is about shot. After eight years in AZ, they are just baked. I think the foam is wasted too. The seats are really hard, so I might replace that also.

I think I would prefer the red lettering. Floor mats are a good idea - never understood why ford left them plain black (boring). I'm not crazy about the stitching, but maybe that is just the yellow. In red it might look better. I had my seat bottom redone - left the upper part alone so I could keep the original lettering (keep costs down). New foam made it much nicer to sit in. JMTC

I think Yellow lettering would be too much and not
match the $125.00ea X2 bed stickers.

Stitching might be over kill also. But if your thinking
that still think about red piping along the stitched seams.

Leave the lettering alone so that it matches the rest of the truck. If they didn't have red lettering I would say the yellow stitching would be a nice touch, but IMO the black seat with red lettering and yellow stitching would be too much. On an interior it's really easy to go overboard. IMO the factory interior has just enough flair to be nice. If anything I would just do the back seats with the same stitching and leave it. The only time I've seen yellow accents look good was on my old Range Rover, and that was because the interior was completely black minus wood belt line trim.

I got some nice black mats with red AMARILLO lettering from Lloyd mats. So I will probably go with just new leather, black stitching, and the Amarillo logo on front and back seats. Dont want to overdo it. Thanks all.

If you would please post a link to the mats and also a
photo to show what they look like when you get them.

Here is the link to Lloyd mats. They don't sell directly, but list all their sales outlets.
Custom Fit Car Truck & SUV Floor Mats All Weather and Custom Mats

I used Pelican Parts because my daughter had used them for her mats. They have a better configurator than some of the other websites.
Pelican Parts Accessories

I would have liked if the logo was closer to the bottom of the mat, but there was no way to indicate that on any of the sites i checked.
Here is the pic. I realized after getting them that my carpet is either faded or not exactly black.

Also, I spotted a long bed jacked up Amarillo with black fender flares tonight in Sumner WA.

Have to go set that guy straight. The flares should be yellow not black.

Also do I see cat hair on the floor? If I were to give my
truck a good cleaning I but I could cover a cat. Well not
really that bad. But there is some.

No cat hair that I know of, I think that is the edge of the base carpet or something. I will have to take a closer look in the daytime.

I have it all over my truck.

The kitties really don't have a shedding time
like some of the longhairs do.

Well, I love this truck, but its up for sale. I just realize it is more truck than I need. I got infatuated with the Amarillo, and still love it, but its gotta go. I have it on CL, Autotrader and Ebay. Thanks all.
