49 F2 driveshaft

I recently aquired a 49 F2. The guy I got it from picked the truck up with a forklift and bent the driveshaft...I assume that an F1 shaft would be too short, but I'm wondering if I could use a shaft from an F3+. If the driveshafts from F3+ trucks are the same or similar. Anyone know this? Thanks.

F-3 is the same. It's a split shaft with a carrier bearing. Both models use the same carrier bearing.

BTW, welcome to the group. Stu

Thanks! Do you know if the f4 or f5 might be the same?

Won't be. The F-2 and F-3 have same 122" wheel base. F-4 is 134", F-5 or F-6 is 134", 158", or 176". Stu
