Im in need of a scan and possibly a hand from someone who knows our trucks. Any takers?? I have what i call a loss of power amongst other things. i know i need to replace some stuff, but would like to sheck it out. Thanks for any help- im too broke saving for the truck to pay high dollar at a shop i do not trust haha!

Im in las cruces. Not sure whats going on as this is my first diesel- shes not like she used to be. i have been told injectors/cups, w.p./coolant, oil cooler, turbo, etc... i have been speaking with member tugly about cups an injectors mostly. also blows a little smoke from oil filler neck and i know i need CCV/6637 mods. One diesel performance shop said the truck is cherry, but i doubt it. anyway, im in LC! Not sure if running a.e. would give any insight but i doubt it would hhurt. thanks a ton for the reply.

Have you checked the BEST map? You will need to do a search for it but its a
List / map with members that have AE

I just wanted to encourage you to keep an eye on Rich's "AE class is in session" thread going on. That way we might have an idea of what we're doing when I can make it down there. This weekend is not looking good, but will keep you posted if something changes. Will your truck make it to T or C?

 

Yeah i was reading that thread earlier as well. Im sure my truck would make it to torc but i dont know if it should haha. im probably being paranoid, just dont want to make anything worse you know? Thanks for keeping me in mind in your travels. Heck ive considered saying screw it and driving back to work in North Dakota but being stranded isnt something im into either.

 

If you decide to hit the road let me know. If you can get closer to me we can hook it up and see what we find. Otherwise, I'd have to wait until we get a trip to Caballo planned.
