Oil leak update

For those that were following, I was having two oil leaks that was being a pain. Took it back to the builder and after a lot of trial and error, found the problem. Had a cracked piston, this was also the reason for pressure build up and the blowing out of the pcv filter. Pulled today and already supposedly fixed, also had him check the brake problem I was having. Come to find out, the rear caliper pistons are blown. This was after two different mechanics looking at them and one telling me I needed to replace my brand new master cylinder. This is the frustrating part of building, both the engine and brakes have less than 2500 miles. Sorry for so long,L8R ZFLASH

Hey Z,
I'm really glad they found the source of your engine leaks.
It can get frustrating - Our truck just never really ran right -
backfiring, hesitation, but masked by other AOD problems. Guys who built it had the distributor one tooth off... Our builder also forgot to use case hardened push rods - totally chewed up & destroyed at 3,000 miles..... Lot's of pain & suffering......

Something to be said for just finding a nicely running engine & stuffing it in there - These engine rebuilds aren't really plug & play... Here's to hoping your truck to do list is getting short.
