I am looking at the Dfuser brand, is this a good one to get?

 

Are you wanting it to just verify against the reading of the ICP?

If you are wanting a permanent gauge I would do an electronic version, mounted in one of the oil rail plugs.

 

No, I want to have it for diagnosis while traveling in Mexico. Several of us have Powerstrokes and where we go there are no services.

I do have an Isspro EV2 Hpop guage in the dash already that gets it data from the ICP sensor/PCM , but as you know there are certain failure instances where the PCM will not be telling the truth.

 

Built me one yesterday, for fuel and oil psi. Waiting for the #5orb to come in, to test hpop ports...

Using a grease gun hose, rated at 3000psi, for the fuel/oil psi, dont think i wanna try it testing hpop..just in case. gonna have the company i found the fittings for, make a hose quick for me....

Oh yeah, I forgot that the HPOP gauges used the value from the ICP sensor, spliced right into the pigtail right? I just had it in my head they came with a new sender.

Although I guess you could purchase another ICP and pigtail and tie the gauge into that one to get a 2nd reference.

Other than that the kit does seem convenient in the fact that it keeps from having to find everything if you didn't have a hydraulic supply near you.
