Crank up WLS! Do they still play music? Maybe Animal Stories in the morning with Uncle 'Lar and Lil' Tommy! (reference for those such as myself that have been in the Chicago radio market for way too long)

You've done high quality work on your truck. Looks great! Hope to see it at Truckfest!

Man, you are making great progress. Looks like you have figured out the "done" issue.
That is one beauty of a truck.

Hey FP,
That before & after Bed pic is awesome - what a difference!

I'm thinking of painting my engine - never done one before.
Is there a proper way to do it? Any pointers? Your's looks great!

Ben, you first need to clean your engine of any oil/grease, and scrape any lose paint if any. You can apply engine primer first to any bare areas. I used a scuff pad after washing the engine to make sure there were no slick areas. Disconnect as many hoses or wires if possible, and tape whatever can not be disconnected. Buy the engine paint of your choice. I bought Ford red, and spray your engine with a few coats. Tape and paper the firewall and inner fenders to avoid over spraying them.

I removed the valve covers and painted them off the engine. I scraped and painted the manifolds with POR-15 Manifold paint. Make sure to wear gloves when handling the POR-15. That does not come off.

Thanks for our comments.
