Do you each have the special screw used to hold down the jack behind the seat on the passengers side? Can you describe what it looks like?

Do a search on Julie's threads, with keyword "jack". He pontificated for about three pages about the correct wing bolt.

I posted a close up of one a few years ago, but I can't find it yet. I'll keep looking. Stu

Edit - go to Google Images and plug in "FTE" "jack" "truckdog62563" and "screw". It's there near the top. Stu

My truck has the thumb screw for the jack...but no jack. It is a standard thumb screw. I only assume it is original.

I had thought about doing my F6 to true original, but I don't have those bottom radiator bolts, lol.

I can now add that thumbscrew to my list as well.

I walked a yard in Iowa and pulled three. Gave a buck apiece. But haven't found the F-3 jack. Stu

I can confirm that Ross is showing the right bolt - I saw that thread a year ago (don't think Julie purged his pictures, I think IB did a big database upgrade or something - they hamburgered my trans swap thread and some others that used to look fine).
My truck had that exact bolt as well (no jack) - I set it aside for some purist and still have it. I've also seen 3 in the various trucks in the various junkyards I've been to - some with plates from the early 60's that look like they been parked since the 60's.

I'll ask this question since there are a lot less 6 cyl amongst the purists, and Julie's horn thread seemed to be way different than how I've seen em. Anybody have the original stock 6v 2 trumpet horns mounted on the head:

Probably not Ford since the horn relay says Delco Remy.
