Trouble opening FTE via Internet Explorer

Anyone else have trouble opening FTE via Internet Explorer? In effort to make Verizon Jetpack ISP work right Tech Support had me uninstall Google Chrome & use Internet Explorer instead. Usually get FTE masthead, then 'Cannot Display Page' that sometimes can be gone around by Refresh page.

Reinstalled Google Chrome & FTE pops right up.

I was having too many similar issues with FTE and IE 7 and 8. I swapped to Chrome and no problems. Well, aside from the last few days im getting internal server error 500 when trying to edit my gallery. I have seperate thread on that, waiting for a reply or fix.

Seems OK on IE9. Sometimes the page hangs and I need to reload.

I've had the best luck with Firefox or IE 10. I HATED IE until 10 came out. It's actually faster than chrome. It's still got a stupid interface and asks random idiotic questions, but I do like the feel of it. Firefox is my go to though.

Subsequent Verizon Tech said that Tech Support was FOS saying JetPack was meant to work w/IE & instructing me to uninstall not only Google Chrome, but also Mozilla FireFox.

Verizon decided there was an issue w/the SIM card in JetPack & replaced it. Seems OK so far, but still haven't gone back to IE. Will have to check if it's updated to IE 10.

Google Chrome started persistent pop ups, stupid ads & puzzle games I'd like to figure out how to block.
