Another exhaust question

My 96 bronco with a 302 has 2 catalytic converters. With the aftermarket y-pipe do I need both? Would it include the holes for the o2 sensors? What is the best and lest expensive way to approach?

A '96 model should have three (3) HEGO (O2) sensors. One in each arm of the Y-pipe and one downstream of the catalytic converter(s). The OBD-II system compares information from the two upstream of the cat to that of the one downstream to determine the efficacy of the cat and the emissions control achieved by the entire system. Regardless of the number of HEGO sensors employed, there is no way to bypass the necessity to have them in place. The system MIGHT still function with some reconfiguration but not without long-term detriment to the engine and emissions equipment.

My plan is to add headers soon. I'm thinking of replacing the y pipe and converters now. I have codes saying O2 sensors now. Just trying to figure out the best and least expensive way to replace the y pipe and cats.
