P0402 & P132B code
today I changed my T-Stat and did the blue spring upgrade.
I put in the coolant and went and got my AE so i could monitor temps and such. Checked for codes and found P0402 EGR flow excessive detected and P132B turbo/super charger boost control A performance.
is this a sign of a turbo cleaning in my near furture or a EGR valve or both

Maybe Both
P132b can be a PIA
Post these gauges at KOEO
BARO
MAP
EBP
and what Kinda Boost you see at WOT???
P0402 EGR Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Excessive Detected EGR valve, EGR position sensor bias, EP sensor bias
I am Leaning towards a Bad EBP/Plugged/DIRTY Sensor causing Both DTC will see what your readings are though
Might be good to Clean EBP Sensor and Metal Tube that feeds sensor from exhaust manafold

To the OP: Is your ICP sensor on the passenger side valve cover or under the turbo?

P132B is a code related to the calibration from the recall 06E17 (part of the Inferred EBP strategy). It means that there is a problem with the VGT system. P132B is a fault code that is set if the required boost levels are not achieved during a learn cycle or at specific speed fuel demand points. This code indicates that there are issues with the turbocharger, MAF sensor, MAP sensor/hose, IAT2 sensor, intake leaks, or exhaust leaks, etc. Frequently it is a sticking turbo issue. This code can also throw a P0401 EGR code - maybe also the P0402 code as well.

[QUOTE=npccpartsman;12739687]I would hazzard a guess that since he has an 04 truck it has an 03 engine and the EBP is an inferred value.

I looked for the icp sensor on the VC but did not find it. But did find a sticker that said I have a YM 03 engine

update
so today i did the following..... pulled the EGR valve and cleaned (had a bit of carbon) pulled the IAT2 sensor and cleaned it was very bad
checked and cleaned the MAP and MAF. And a AFE intake delete.
hooked up AE to check for codes and the 132b and 0402 code had not come back
also did a data log and i will try to attach but if if doesn't i can repost with data.
