will 77 F150 leaf packs fit a 91 F150?
Hey all
A friend of mine bring his truck around to mine for a new axle bearing tonight and noticed one of the leaves in the left hand rear leaf pack is broken. His truck is a 91 model F150 4x4 stock height. I have a set of used rear springs at stock height from my 77 F150 4x4 in good condition. Would it be possible to swap my old springs straight into his truck?
Thanks in advance

my 89 2wd has 2.25 inch wide springs. all the 70s half tons i have seen have 3 inch wide springs. seems like we did some looking and 80s-90s extended cabs had 3 inch wide springs. as long as they are the same width i would assume they would work. you could measure eye to eye and eye to center pin to see if they are the same. i would definately suggest swapping both sides.
