Tag axle? Eaton or Rockwell tandem drive axles is better as I am sure ya know.
I wonder how installing a set with air brakes would go. Sure make a nice truck.
Not that yours isn't nice. It's great, I love it. Even the green and living in a rain
forest green aint a popular color on anything. Looks great on yours though.
I guess what I am saying is a tag axle seems to take away traction, But will haul
more than a single axle. And tandem drive axles are not cheap even used.
Did you put the tag axle in where there was none? Or did she already
have it? Ya I read yer whole thread but that was a while back and I got like
CRS. Can't Remember Sheit.

I picked up a 391ft today . I got there a little early and had to help pull it from a 77 l800. So.... I helped my self to the cross members and the starter and the bell housing and the power steering pump and everything on the front of the motor. I will post photos tomorrow . I m stopped for dinner on my way home from Boomer Wis. (which is about 30 miles north of Eau Claire Wis.)in Madison.
It is going to need some seals there is oil on everything.

I think I found a good bell housing that will play nice with my NP540 and my 391. It is or was in a 73 f500 with a 330 motor.
My freind Ed looked up a stock part number out of his ford parts books and this is the part number C4TZ505D . It is coming out of Portland area . There is a guy out there that is going to a bone yard to see if it matches my drawings.
