Doing oil mods?
Keep in mind stock FE's will run for hundreds of thousands of miles straight from the factory as assembled. When you rebuild one for serious performance, then you may want to consider performing the oiling mods.
I think I ended up with a pair of 78's in my heads, but I can't remember for sure. This will help prevent flooding the heads (or draining the pan) at high rpm. There's a lot more that can be done, but if this is all you do, then it's better than nothing.
