I have a 1997 f350 that is wrecked but still has a good power train. Does anyone on here know of a place around the DFW or Waco area I could take it and get decent price for it. I really need to get this thing out of the yard.

Yea it's not quite worth it. The cab is smashed in pretty far. Everything else is fine though. It was a great truck buying another one just like it this week. You just can't go wrong with those trucks.

 

If it's a manual, I sure could use a shifter boot. If it's 4x4, I could use the T-case shifter boot, too. PM me if possible.

 

Id part it out yourself you could make decent money out of it take tons of pics of it and post to the classified section on here might need somethin even lol

 

That's what I'm probably going to do. I just mainly want to sell the engine tranny and flat bad then scrap the rest. I really need to get it gone quick

Crew cab 2wd 5 speed manual dual rear end with western hauler style flat bed

Dang wish ya were closer to indiana i would take rear axle for sure how good of shape are the rear door window seals on the outside

 

Front axle can fetch up to a grand, from someone with an F250 fixin' to upgrade. If it's not part of the wreck, the radiator core support is worth some real money; they're not making them anymore and they rust out up here. As said above, craigslist will get it out of your yard pretty quick.

 

If the shifter boot is not ripped or otherwise damaged, could you please, please, please remove it and mail it to me before you sell the truck? PM me if you're willing.

he said 2wd, i'm guessing the front end is worth much less.

i've been looking for a 5 speed trans to change out my auto. if you decide to tear it up let us know.
