Lariat seats in my XL F-350
I have a nice clean 99 F350 Crew Cab Dually. It came with the following bench seat up front.
I thought it was ok and for around town it was fine. After my 1200 mile camping trip my back was screaming. I sourced a 2000 model set of well used Lariat seats in a trade.
Here is what they looked like installed.
Now my truck is very comfy but looks terrible. Today I bought some Dickeys seat covers. Well, they are going back to the store. I think it looks worse.
I priced a local trim shop to recover the seats in matching blue vinyl and it was 800-1000$$$ for the pair.
Geeze. Can't I get my truck both comfortable and looking good again for a decent price??? Are there any other options short of spending a grand on these seats?
I'm sure I'm not the only XL guy to go through this.
Thanks!
Jim

I changed my OEM bench seat for a pair of heated Flexsteel buckets. Cost was about $1200 new and they mounted to the steel frame work that the bench had been mounted to. Used all original bolt holes in floor too. I know what youmean about the bench seat being terrible on trips. My Flexsteels were originally for motorhomes so that would be another source for you to check out.
