Help with leaf springs

I am removing every third leaf and putting in poly liner like they describe in the Mid-Fifties catalogue. I am wondering how tight should the center bolt be? The original was really tightened down.

Thanks,

Marty

There is an engineered and recommended torque value for every type of fastener, depending on size and grade. I would research the correct value for your fastener and go with that.
