'Cause I know how much Doc and Ross love to dissect these deals.
Good grief man, are we that bad? Lately, I've just said the owners of these ebay trucks are my heroes considering the prices they're getting. I'll just say it "Looks good!" Thirty-four bidders think so. Go get it boys! Now that we have our member from Massilon back in the house, maybe he can shed some light on where all these trucks are coming from?
See, this is the depth of scrutiny and analysis that only comes from a knowledgeable forum. Good point on the glove box tag Jeff. I also noticed the light switch is missing and the choke switch is not original.
The hood chrome must be OK, otherwise Ilya would have pointed that out by now. I'm only fluent in 48-50 trim, sorta.
Does a '50 have a narrow back window? I was gonna mention it, but I don't know. Or is it the '51-'52 cab with the wider back window. IIRC that is the case.
not a big deal on the tag, but it is a game of trivial pursuit!
says it has "its original 8BA flathead". weren't truck engines red? i have a tangarine EAB in mine from a 53 car and it looks like the one in that truck.

I wouldn't believe that ANY 60-yr-old truck has 58k miles and has the original engine unless Henry Ford's signature was on it. The engine appears to have a narrow belt on the generator, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a car engine. Mine is, and it was also tangerine.
I'm curious to see what this ends up going for. Then I'll figure a hi level math equation to extrapolate what mine is worth...uhhhhh, i read that somewhere. I think mine is in a liiiiiiittttle bit better condition than that one.
Excellent find though!
