Question a few questions?

Was wondering if its better to do water/meth or intercooler to lower egt's while towing 12,000lbs camper. Also was looking to change my clearence light to the round 18wheeler style was wondering if they would line up w. Original holes or if id have to drill more? I have captainz chairs in the front of the truck...looking for a pass. Side arm rest...junkyards don't carry them around here? Has anyone ever tried putting air seats in?

I would do intercooler first. Water injection works just as good though. I have both. I wouldn't know about the clearance lights.

What kind of fuel economy did you get from that?

My fuel economy has always sucked. I get 9 pulling my 5er at 70mph and 13 light. IC only helps under hard pulls to keep the EGT's down.

Well from my Understanding, the WMI kits lower EGT's a lot, as well as raise BTU's slightly for fuel combustion. I've seen reports of up to + 3-4MPG gains.

My Audi 2.5TDI was inter-cooled and I got about 50mpg autobahn, I just figured with the right setup, you might be able to pull at least 20-25MPG with your current setup, not pulling of course, but just as a daily driver without a load.

I haven't driven much HW, but I AVG about 18MPG. I drove about 150 miles on about a qtr and a half of a tank @ 65MPH cruise. I've filled up once the whole month I've owned it. I haven't done a fill up vehicle report on it, as I don't have a consistent fuel use, but circumstances don't really allow me to drive too much.

The Army has strict policy's on inspections and right now, my rear window has caused some issues which I plan to fix tomorrow with a straight glass pane. I broke the rear slider driver side, a 2 decade old truck, the glass is bound to be weak, so I just attributed it to that.

As far as EGT's go, I've never seen my gauge go past the qtr mark. But then again, I have a dump-gate issue with boost surge, I'm lucky if my RPM's will go over 2k. I either need a turbo rebuild, or a whole new turbo all together. And I always let my truck idle for about 5 minutes before cutting the engine.
