Steering stabalizer shock.

Hey guys I am a little curious about something. Our last 02 Ford F250 4x4 V10 super cab was a off road package and it had a steering stabalizer shock on the front end. Well our current 02 Ford F250 4x4 V10 crew cab (not sure if it is an off road package or not the truck is completely shaven of all emblems but on the grille) does not have one yet looks like it has mounts for one. Can a steering stabalizer be mounted on our 02 F250 fairly easily. Also does the shock really help that much in offroading as we live on harsh backroads. Our last 02 F250 we didn't drive much before we traded it in so thats part of the reason I don't know.
Thanks guys,
Trav

Yes, you can easily mount one. Maybe it helps, that is your call.

There are many single and dual steering stabilizers available for your truck.

yea it real easy to get one mounted.. you just need to find one with the right stroke length. and make (or buy) a little bracket for the tierod.

we put one on ours and it made a world of difference just driving. it all but killed bump steer, stopped the wandering.. twin stabalizers might help even more. corse we have the big 35" tires.....its a very useful addition.

It'll make a huge difference on crappy roads.

I'd hit up a junkyard for the hardware. Heck, even the factory stabilizer would be better than nothing (if you can find one of those at a junkyard).
