To the original question, as others have suggested, I'd bet the owner has no idea what a "straight-6" is, even though that's likely exactly what is powering the truck he's selling. Pics required if otherwise.

As everyone else has said, it's probably an I6. It's pretty common for less than clueful people to think that every six is a 'vee six' these days.

I'm not talking full blown race cars. We're talking about a wimpy 100 hp V6 in a truck.
Back pressure is a myth. I build high performance Pontiac engines for a living and had a customer with a street Ventrua, the Nova looking Pontiac, that ran nine flat at 150 mph. He had heard about this back pressure bs and wondered if he needed to configure some into his combination.
