I have a 2001 F-250 extended cab. The other day I closed the passengers rear door and now it will not open from either the side of the door or from the inside. Before I go tearing into it does anyone have any suggestions. I am sure it is a simple fix but first I must get the door open. When I try to open the door with the handles I do not feel any added resistance other than the spring loaded handles, I hope that helps.

That is a common problem with extended cab trucks the latch is broken on the inside, you will have to take it apart to get it open. Usually the top or the bottom will not be locked but the other part will not be.
