PCM for a 1991 E-350 7.5l RV
I just had my E4OD rebuilt at 97k. After a few miles, it stopped shifting. It is stuck in first until I move the lever to 2. Then it shifts and stays until I move the lever back to D. OD button does nothing. I had the solenoid block replaced again, the VSS replaced, and the electrical guys says it must be the PCM.
I understand what it does but not where it is. Can anybody help? I just dont see it. I would like to send it somewhere to get it fixed unless it has obvious damage that I might tackle.
Thanks.

If it's in the same place as the 94s, then it's mounted on the firewall just in front of the steering column with its plug at the bottom.
You should have the codes read on it first. These units have a lot of diagnostic capability built in, and can have codes when there is no check engine light or transmission warning light. Does your O/D OFF light ever illuminate? You might also check the connectors into the transmission.
And try and send a PM to subford or look for his posts.
