You missed something.
From here it's hard to tell.
Begin trouble shooting the system to find out.
Everything can't be ok and still have an issue.
There is an alternator small fuse.
Check the plugup and harness.
I don't have faith in your alternator test at this point until you start the motor, and test voltage at the battery.
Here is how it works:
The difference between the battery voltage and the alternator regulator reference is what makes the alternator put charge current into the battery.
As long as this happens the dash light will be off telling you the system is working.
The regulator is what turns the dash light on and off.
As long as the dash light is on the system is not working.
Bottom line is you have to begin trouble shooting or take it to a shop.
There is not a lot more to all this, to tell you.
Good luck.

Fuse #11 in the distribution box is the alternator field fuse. See page 211 of your owners manuel.
The regulator is part of the alternator.
The start relay is mounted to the vertical surface of the fire wall just to the right of the battery and below the hood weather stip.
It has two large studs connecting battery cables.
If the auto store cannot give you a 'start relay' from their computer system as shown for the year, and model, and you can't see it's location, both of you are in serious trouble.
What else can I say?
Good luck.
