My next test was going to be a compression test, as soon as I get off my butt and get a the fittings to make my compression gauge work. LOL! The truck had a K&N filter on it when I got it, don't know how long it was on there. The turbo wheel looks like it could be slightly dusted so, I'm going to check compression and see what I find.

That would be a good idea. I think I have a 7.3 PSD compression tester kit around here somewhere. I'll send if I can find it. If I do I'll send it your way to use.

I bought a whole kit, but the quick connect fitting on the hose won't clear the rocker arms, so I'm gonna make an extension for the adapter that screws into the glow plug holes. I'll get it made up soon. Thanks for the offer though bud.
