Gauge wiring question

Hey guys im trying to hook up a trans temp gauge and I would like to know how what wire to use to power the light on the gauge when the light switch is pulled out and activated?

that's the one i used.i forget the color,but i found the one on the dimmer so it dims with the oem gauge cluster.
easily found with a meter and turning the dial to see if voltage raises/lowers.
