Wow, great information in this forum. Good work to everyone, this is what America was built on. Like most people on here I need to rebuild the E4OD in my wife's 97 expedition. Went out last night on her way to LA to pick up my son. No forward gear just reverse. Gotta get in there to see what is bad. The zip file would be a great help, TIA. restoman1981@gmail.com please? I was just informed that to fix my coast and OD problem a rebuild is in order $2000 ugh. The truck was only $950!!! The shop is top notch and has rebuilt many of our transmissions over the years.
