Appears they are all specialty tools of some sort. If you Google the part numbers, you should bw able to figure out what they are.

On the other hand, I'd be a little suspicious if someone is just selling all those tools by the part numbers and doesn't know what they are for. That smells like stolen tools to me.

I don't know about that,,, but I just bought a crank seal install n removing kit for the 6.0. He said he will ship it tomorrow. I can't see them all being stolen. I was told there are pallets of tools in Austin TX. I guess if they stole a whole semi full of them. I just thought I would post it in case someone is looking for a specific tool. I will follow up on here once I receive my tools. They are supposed to all be rotunda.

I think so. I don't have it in my hand yet so we will see. I'm google ing rotunda part numbers trying to see what I need, or could use. Once I get them, I will post pics and tell you what I paid.

I don't have the list for the 6.0, since I have the 7.3

These are from a closed down dealership. He is on the up-and-up with the tools, as he owned the dealership that closed. They are in a warehouse, and he wants them gone. He has quite a lot of tools for the 80's and 90's model Ford trucks/cars. He also has several tranny and axle kits for the early 2000's Ford explorer/expeditions. He has a mountain of Ford truck parts, too. But Ford showed up and offered to buy all of them back from him. If they had not already inventoried them, he would have let me in there to go through them....oh, well.

I bought the axle kits for the dana 50/60/135, the kit for the 4r100, 271/273 transfer case kit, and the kit for the 10.5 rear end. Also got the kits for the F250/350 ball joints and steering knuckle/outer axle seals. Paid $725 for all of those kits in a package deal.

He knows I'm a police officer. He will not do you wrong if you want something on the list.

Hey Mike, I figured I'd post the numbers he gave me. I got the payment form faxed twice, and I emailed it. I hope he got it. I asked him in an email about another set I could use. how far do you live from him? Definitely a score. Hope shipping isn't too much.

I'm about 45 minutes from the warehouse. It is in central Austin. UPS ground shouldn't be too much.

HAHA...the claw missing from your 6.0 kit is selling for $425 from a tool vendor. Just the claw!!!

Be careful:

Valued tools stolen from car dealership
Tools roughly estimated to be worth thousands

Drew Blair
DECATUR, Ind. (WANE) -- Police in Decatur are investigating the theft of high valued tools from the Courtesy Ford dealership located on South 13 th Street.

Detective Corral with the Decatur Police Department said the tools were discovered to be missing Monday morning from several large sized tool boxes. The dealership's service manager found the drawers of the storage boxes open. Police were told that mechanics have always been in the habit of locking the boxes when leaving work.

Mechanics for Courtesy Ford are compiling an inventory to log exactly what is missing and the net worth of the stolen items.

According to police, one mechanic roughly estimated his personal loss to be worth between $10,000 and $20,000. Some of the tools have been considered irreplaceable since they were handed down from elder family members.

Investigators believe the theft happened sometime between when the dealership closed at 3:00 p.m. Saturday and Monday morning.

Corral said there was no reason for investigators believe this to be an "inside job." They did not have any leads as of Tuesday afternoon as the investigation continued.

Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to call the Decatur Police Department at (260) 724-3123

I was just gonna ask if he had the outer seal driver for the axle seals. I guess you already swiped it. . Better luck next time.

Ray, the guy that has these tools just called me confirming what I'm getting before he goes to the ups store to ship. I think his story is good and I'm in full confidence of the sale. I'm doing research on a couple other tools now, he has about 250 kits. He has them organized by year. I'm gonna follow up on this after I have the tools in hand. He said there are two dealerships wanting to send a box truck to get it all, and he said he's gonna let them go. If we want any of this,,, we better get to it.

Anthony, everything in that kit is all you need for your build. In it, you have your front & rear crank seal remover/installers, the cylinder head lifting bracket as well as the alignment tool needed to time the cam and crank.
