well idk where you are im in boonville ny but i have both. blue manual door though in great shape. and i have a white fender has 1 tiny rust hole that can be fixed and a little surface rust.
relaxing.. not really. what happened was i went to replace a set of door hinges on my friends 97 f-250. i told a bit of bad advice reading that passenger side door hinges are the same as the driver side. there are not.. at least in the case. granted everything bolt up just fine. the door closed well, but when i went to open it.. it would not. so now the local body shop is gonna charge me 1,600 to replace the fender, and repair the door.
LOL, by relaxing I meant our 250+ sq.mile Ft.Bragg is the home of the US Army Airborne Forces and Special Forces, as well as U.S. Army Forces Command and U.S. Army Reserve Command.
On the other hand I see the stress of paying someone that outrageous price to do the repairs. So when you went to open it.. it would not, then what happened to the fender and the door?
From what I see the lowers are the same right & left but the uppers are different. Odd they bolt up...... what keeps it from opening. I've never looked at them that closely before.

the hinges looked very similar except for a slightly different design. i just figured that it was a slight change between the model years. it moved the door slightly ahead so it ended up meeting the fender just below the belt line. what surprised me was how easy that fender bent up like a tin can. both body shops we checked with commented the hinges are not interchangeable. truly it was a lesson learned.
