driveline angles with a lift , questions.
I have a 1977.5 f250, im putting a 4inch rough country lift in it. im concerned about my front driveline angle. before the lift it had a 6 degree difference between the pinion and the driveshaft, with the lift it has a 18 degree difference, if this was a rear driveline i wouldnt be so worried as long as the angles were the same and correcting themselves.
but the therie behind the cv ujoint on the tcase end is for all the correcting to be done there and the ujoint on the diff end is just to take up minor angles from the suspension moving . 18 degrees is alot. i could add wedges and take some of that up but i would be changing my caster angle aswell.
what are your oppinions on this?
