backup camera power

I have a 2006 Winnebago on a e450 chassis. I accidently damaged the cable from camera to monitor. The cable has been repaired. but no image on monitor.I can run a hot wire to the plug on the back side of the monitor and I have an image. ALL fuses check ok. Winnebago has no answer. Can someone with Ford know how help?

You probably blew a fuse.

You're probably going to need to get the wiring diagram from Winnebago since they're responsible for everything other than the base chassis wiring that Ford provided.

I also feel it's a blown fuse. Owners manual says fuse #17, which controls electric side mirrors as well as backup camera. The fuse checked out as being good. I changed it anyway,but still no joy with camera monitor or mirror control.

Reading between the lines, I am going to guess the monitor may have a different power source than the camera itself. So there may be another fuse somewhere. Or;

The monitor gets it's power from the camera circuit, and there is a fuse blown inside the camera unit itself. See if you can search the internet for info on the camera unit itself. I am assuming it's made by a third party, not Winnebago. They might have some diagrams of how the camera and monitor hook up if you can find any info.

bu camera

Thanks Dave.
The system is manufactured by Voyager, model aom562. I have spoken to Winnebago customer service on three occasions.They have the coach wire diagram to reference
and are unable to find where there is a separate fuse other than the chassis fuse.
I can make the system work by running a hot wire from the cigarette lighter to the plug on the back of the monitor. I feel if it was a fuse in the camera,I would get no picture coming from camera.
On Monday I have a RV tech coming to take a look. Wish me luck.
Again, thanks to all .
