F250 started up when I hooked the battery up
I have a 2007 F 250 Super Duty pickup, I remove the turbo to clean it and reinstalled it. I had the batteries disconnected over night and when I finished installing the turbo I hooked the batteries up and without the key in the ignition the engine started and then shut down and started again and then shut down again and stayed off. It sure surprised me as I'm standing in front of the truck. It all seems to work fine now, I test drove it for close to an hour and everything's works. Is it some how programmed to do this, or do I have a problem with the wiring? Hope someone can help.
Thanks

He did say batteries but didn't say anything that would indicate it's a V10. Probably just in the wrong forum.
Sorry, have no idea what would cause it. I'm more concerned that it happened and could have turned into a tragedy when the truck started if any part of a person's body was near the fan!!!
