Yeehaw! Installed! Drives much better now.
Took about 2.5 hours total including at least 4 or 5 trips on my healing knee down to my lower garage for tools I need out of the toolbox down there. I would have been done 45 minutes sooner, but I got to do the install twice. It seems that the Moog Pitman arm I bought from Rockauto either was a "wrong item in box (it was taped closed - not a factory job) or Moog dorked up the specifications for this application. It was too short and had too much drop and caused it to hit the cross member under there (forgot the name) on left turns. Ended beating the old arm off the old box and swapping it onto the new one. If I had to do it again and had everything at hand, I could probably do one in an hour now if there were no complications.
Took a 20 minute test drive and observed that the wandering steering was definitely fixed. The steering seems to take a bit more effort, but it's not a big deal. Also, the steering wheel is not about 10 degrees off center, but I can adjust that later.
I need to pack up the core tomorrow and send it on back Friday.
In all, a very successful project! My thanks for all the effort that was done to set this up.
Now, the exhaust system needs to be fixed before the weather turns crappy....

Took old and new boxes to a friends shop and he impacted the arm nut and locking washer off for me, installed my new arm on the Redhead- took him all of 2 minutes with the right tools. I would have never gotten that nut off myself. Now just waiting for my muscle help to arrive to hold it while I bolt it back in....
