Got my parts!!

Sorry guys/gals. I don't mean to boast but I came home from work today to see a box from midfifty on the porch. My new floor parts and such came in. Pretty stoked! First REAL parts for the truck! Wanted to pull out the cutting wheel and get started right away. Stupid other priorities...

Of coures you were excited, I would compare that feeling with the same feeling i got as a child back in the 50s, when I saved up all the necessary ceriel box tops along with 35 cents, sent it all in with Moms help to Battelcreek Mich. and waited 6 to 8 weeks to get that baking soda powerd frogman. Boy the day the mailman brought that package with My name on it Wow, goly, neeto pie superjet! Yeah I think we all understand your ecitement. Congrats it only gets better, and better. As mentioned now take pictures so we can all enjoy your build.

I cant post attachments but I do have pics in my "garage album"? Here is the link...
Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - Crazymug13's Album: Garage - Joshua's 55

This seems like a bit of convoluted way of doing it, Im thinking of maybe using flickr or something like that. I think I have to wait until I have 25 posts to put in picture or maybe I have to pay $ i read it once but cannot recall now.

Definitely excited! Talked to my Dad today, he is planning a trip down next week, something I have always dreamed of, working on a classic with my Dad. Not to sound corny but with my boys, me, and Pepaw all tinkering...it will make all the money and all the time that I have waited worth it and then some!

Amen!
I got four boxes this week. Three today. Two only fit in the bed of my daily driver. My son's tickled pink. I'm more tickled than he is. It will be a long weekend here in Dallas. We start at the crack of dawn.

Pictures: open picture in your gallery and highlight/copy the second address shown on the page. Paste into your post. Voila!

Jim, thanks for the flash back. I havent thought of that in years. I too saved up box tops as a kid. 5 proofs of purchase and a SASE for a hotwheels car. 4-6 weeks for delivery seemed like the longest wait of my life. Starting day 1 of week 4 I checked the mail everyday. Finally came in, a white 69 Camaro with blue racing stripes. Been hooked on the classics every since I guess.
