Definitely a clean, very low mileage rig. Still too much money in my opinion, but also worth it to the right person.

I would like to have it but my early 99 is paid for and I only drive mine for pleasure and moving a lawnmower once in a while.

It looks like a nice truck but 24,000.00 for a 10 year old truck? Low mileage trucks have their issues too. The truck has obviously sat more than its ever been driven. IMO that's one of the worst things you can do to a vehicle. Why do 7.3 trucks get priced way over the top? I mean c'mon you can probably buy a 6.0 or even a 6.4 truck with that kind of money. Also, New LPOP and alternator already?

It's had an artful lot of stuff done to it for such low mileage. Thats what sitting sounds will do to it.

Plus 25K for a 10-11 year old truck is nuts. If happily go out and get a 2005-up truck with a few more miles on out for les than that.

The kelly Blue book value is $19,577 because the miles are so low. He is over priced by about $5,500. If someone offered him 20k he would probably start to negotiate. I would not buy the 6.0, 6.4, or 6.7 The 7.3L is by far the best FORD platform out there.

I agree 100% that the 7.3 has proven the test of time. If I was in the market for a $20,000 truck it won't be a 6.0 or 6.4. It would be a cherry 7.3 come on now it is a 10 yr virgin, it isn't even broke in. Newer isn't always better.

I think it is over priced because the guy doesn't want to sell it, I'll bet it is his wife telling him to get rid of it. The down fall of many a good men and there trucks are a WIFE !!! But only a weak minded man let's a woman come between him and his truck. My wife knows better.

Good looking truck. You wave 20k cash money in his face I bet he will jump on the deal.

Exactly. It is amazing what people are asking for low mileage 7.3l trucks. Either way, it does not change the fact that they are 10+ years old. Hell, they aren't even collectibles. Love the trucks, but some people are unrealistic. You can get something a lot newer for that kind of coin.

Wonder what a dealer would offer him in trade.....
