Impressive little engine. I don't think I would have the patience to build something with such small items.

Looks to me like it is running from compressed air into the intake. Not by internal combustion.

I didn't see him install any miniature spark plugs, wires or distributor, nor any other way to ignite fuel, so I think you are right.

I didn't see any rings on the pistons either.

Gary Conley makes an Alcohol V8 that is the real deal-check out the videos-

Conley Precision Engines Inc.

and they're as expensive and full size SBF.
Got to love his workmanship though.
