Local 7.3 for sale.

Just saw this on a FB group page. I would love to add a 7.3 to the collection, but wife says 4 excursions would be too much.

I hate agreeing with this guy ^^^^^^

But he's right, for that many miles torn seat etc. it's a tad overpriced IMO.

I disagree. If you can scrap those wheels for 6k then it's a good deal. If not though then a waste.

I don't think the price is all that out of line. The truck looks pretty clean and seat repair is not very expensive.

Well as I am sure country mouse can attest the prices here in ao cal for an Excursion with a 7.3 are a little higher. Not too far out of line if the stated condition is correct. I am too cheap (broke) to pay that kind of cash though.

My thoughts are that it was a lot of miles, the seat would have to be fixed, and wheels and tires would have to go, plus you're still looking at a 13-year-old vehicle. Starting with the top issue you're going to spend about $500 replacing the seat cover and cushion plus the top seat cover if they don't match anymore plus a serious cleaning to the interior which should be another few hundred if you wanted it to be perfect so you have a grand on the interior. The wheels and tires we have to be replaced and you're looking at $2500. At this point you have $3500 on top of the 13 grand he wants for it. There are plenty of fish in the sea That require less bait.

I'm sorry to tell you, but that isn't a bad price for that rig. Wheels are personal so the possibility of finding a rig with your choice in wheels will be slim.

A solid 7.3 and no rust... That's a good deal. Seats are cheap in comparison and sub 150k mile 7.3 Excursions are hard to find south of $20k.

I'd check it out if I was closer.

I didn't look it up but I would guess kbb to be about $9k.

$250 for new seat bottom leather and foam wouldn't be the determining factor for me,
Rims are a personal preference assuming they are the correct BS,

Corrosion, mechanical condition as well as clues to Maintaintence history would be my guide.

Considering the "Ex" factor, $12,500 doesn't seem to be an out of line ask. If everything checked out I would be a buyer at $11,000
