I am back!

I had a 2001 Ford Expedition, sold it for a puny 2011 Toyota RAV4 a year ago. I never felt right driving the RAV4, felt like a squirrel driving that thing. So I sold the RAV4 and went shopping. The first truck that I saw was totally awesome, but the dealer sold it while I was waiting for the person who bought my RAV4 to come up with the money. I ended up buying the very next truck I looked up on Auto Trader. It's a one owner 2006 F-150 Supercrew FX4 with 118,000 miles. The person who had it before took fairly good care of it, but there are lots of details that I need to work on to spruce her up.

Here is the one that got away. They dealer said the guy who traded it in had $20K in receipts for the modifications. Still kicking myself in the head for not just buying it!

Welcome back! Both are nice trucks, but I'd have an issue buying such a heavily modified truck like "the one that got away". I don't know who did the mods, all what mods are present or the quality of the parts used. Most of all why was it traded after so much money was put into it? You'll fair better with the one you bought after you do the mods you want and make it yours. Congrats on the new ride!

Welcome back and nice purchase! As far as the receipts to show 20k in mos I think that is a line by the salesman. I can see close to 10k and that includes tires which are not something you can include in upgrades.

None the less you will be much happy with the screw over the scab.
