OKAY JOE....new Isspro ful gauge not working. Need help.
I just installed a new fel gauge today. I have had the other Isspro performax gauges in the truck for several years and they work with no problems. Installed the sensor in the fuel bowl post filter. When I turn the key on the red led on the gauge lights up then shuts off. The needle does not move. I pulled the gauge out and checked to make sure the wires were seated using the plastic tool. I also wiggle the wires in the black connector. All three wires snapped in when I inserted them in the connector. Is there any way to test anything?

If you also run an ISSPRO boost gauge, unplug the boost and plug in the fuel and you should see your needle move as it reads boost on the fuel gauge if you have it set up correctly (both boost and fuel pressure use the same sending unit). If that checks out, you may need to have a new sending unit put in as there are a number of people on here that had been given a bad sending unit and the replacement unit appears to have worked for many. My issue had been with the spring in my FRx and when I reset the spring correctly, the fuel pressure gauge started to work normally.

OKay maybe I am confused or just don't understand it correctly. There are only three wires that go into the cab. If there is no fuel pressure signal goin into the cab, the boost gauge will not read it. The only thing I could do is check the connection by moving the boost gauge to another connector.
I don't see how the fuel pressure gauge would read boost as the location doesn't matter.

Did you hook up the power, ground, and light wires?
There will be six wires in the connector behind the fuel gauge.
Three wires from the sensor and then the three for power, ground, and light.

I had a problem with mine - It is the 6 wire setup- It wound up being one of the wires was not making contact in the back of the gauge - Pulled & redid all of them & all is good for about 2 months now. Isspro's website has a troubleshooting guide also - Might help you out.

I think clay figured it out. I did not see any numbers on the under hood connector so I kinda guessed. I just looked and hey are in the wrong spots, but I cannot see the numbers well enough I will need to find a magnifying glass.

Sounds to me like you have the signal wire going to the wrong spot on the ESP...
Guys, for referance...
EV-2 have 6 wires running to each gauge...
Performax have 3 wires running to run all 17 gauges (assuming you have 17...)
There is a ground, signal and lighting wire... Those three wires run from the ESP (brain) thru the fire wall to the gauges. NO sensor wires go to the gauges themselfs.
Let me know if you continue to have issues.
