brocken rocker stud

o.k i am driving yesterday when my truck started running really rough i went straight home about 10 min and could here a noise from right side valve train pulled cover off and found # 2 cylinder intake stud brocken and rocker in valve cover stud broke inside rocker lock. I should tell you i have edelbrock e-street heads and i am using procomp aluminum roller rockers i know probably not a good choice on rockers. Can anyone tell me what would cause this to happen. the rockers are not touching the spring retainers my cam is mild 448/472 dur 270/280 edelbrock#2122 can i get 1 new stud and a new set of rockers (quality) and be good to go?
