I'm looking at a truck to buy at a Nissan dealership in Johnstown, and I started a thread on the 6.0l page. I've taken some heat because I'm not there to inspect it in person. If you search my name "ajsemtb" it'll be the only thread that comes up (except for this one). Its a 2005 King ranch F350 CC SB 6.0L. It has 132k miles, but the motor was replaced due to an injector explosion. New motor was from ford, and installed somewhere in TX. The big requests are running it w/ a scangauge 2 w/ the Xgauges on it to check for normal problems w/the truck while running. So, that being said, does anyone live in/near Johnstown that drives a 6.0L Ford SD w/ a scangauge 2 that would consider "test driving" it for me please? I would consider some compensation for your time. I've already committed to the truck, I suppose this is just to know what I'm buying into. Thanks in advance.
Didnt. Bought it anyway the price was right even if it needs work its EXACTLY what I wanted. However the motor only has 20k and it was a new motor not rebuilt. And the dealership has a perfect rating on several websites. Im told there are no known problems and I'll start bullet proofing it once it is delivered so it will be the last truck I buy for a long time.
Wished I'd have seen this post - I know the Laurel dealerships very well living in this town. But it sounds like you got this all under control and are going to be getting the truck delivered to you.
