I'm about to go buy a reman and turn this thing in for a core. Although that seems like a waste with a transmission that has fewer than 4000 miles on it, I don't have the time to screw with this thing a whole lot.

Is there a magic check valve that the good folks at the transmission shop may have forgotten that I can easily replace? Other ideas?

Thanks,

ps it shifts like crap too: doesn't downshift when I stop, and seems to take forever to upshift, but this is my first Cruise-O-Matic so maybe that's normal?
