And is it only the camper special that has the tool box on the passenger bottom side of the bed? Nope.
Which Camper Special bed are you asking about?
1973/79 F350's on the 140" wheelbase (1973/76 Super Camper Special/1977/79 Camper Special-Ford dropped "Super" after 1976, 1973/79 Trailer Special) have their rear axles set further back, so these beds won't fit anything else.
Bedside tool compartment optional for all 1973/79 8' bed Stylesides except F350's on the 140" wheelbase. These trucks have their spare tires located behind doors where the tool comparment is located on other Stylesides.
1973/76: Styleside fuel caps are exposed / 1977/79: Styleside fuel caps located behind fuel doors.
