Rear Fender Brace Question

Hello FTE Friends,

I'm at it again...

In the garage making things happen on the truck! Woohoo, God is good!!

Okay, so I have finally found my rear fender braces / brackets and find myself looking rather dumbfound as to where these should attach to. I know where they attach at the fender side, but not sure after that. The obvious is sometimes too obvious. Since there is no bed wood yet, I don't want to use up a bedwood bolt location. That may seem important later.

I know some of you have the answer - with pictures, for my veiwing pleassure.

Also, if anyone of my FTE friends can provide me with how in the heck do I install the outside door handles, that too would be really appreciative.

Hurry before it gets too hot again!

Paul

the fender brackets inside end mount to the chassis. there should be a hole it lines up with..
|edit correction, I could have sworn chassis... only one of my 4 trucks has these, been a long time

as for the door handles.. remove the linkage inside,

pull back the door gasket at the handle to find the handle retainer clip, and pull it out of the door..

My inside end of the braces were attached to a bolt along the edge of the bed that held the wood down, not to the frame.

Thank you TruckeeMtnFords. I appreciate that clarification. After Sam's note, I began to look very carefully and the only place logical it seem to fit is where you mention.
Thank you, thank you & thank you!
